Return & Refund Policy

Overview

We accept eligible returns when you notify us within 14 calendar days after you, or a person designated by you other than the carrier, receives the order. You do not need to give a reason.

This policy applies to purchases made directly through horscourt.com. It does not limit any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.

Return conditions

To receive a full product refund, an item should be:

  • unworn and unused, except for reasonable inspection or trying on;
  • unwashed, unaltered, and free from marks, odours, hair, or other damage;
  • returned with its original tags and packaging where reasonably possible; and
  • securely packaged to prevent damage in transit.

You are responsible for any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the item's nature, characteristics, and fit. We may deduct that reduction in value from your refund where permitted by law.

How to make a return

  1. Email [email protected] within the 14-day period. Include your order number and a clear statement that you wish to return the item.
  2. Wait for our return instructions and return address. Do not send items to the manufacturer.
  3. Send the item within 14 calendar days after telling us that you are withdrawing from the purchase.

Returns are accepted by mail only. We do not accept cash-on-delivery returns or parcels sent without sufficient postage.

Return shipping

For non-defective returns, you pay the direct cost of return shipping. We recommend using a tracked service and keeping proof of postage. The item remains your responsibility until it reaches the return address.

If the item is defective, damaged on arrival, or not what you ordered, contact us before returning it. Where required by law, we will provide or reimburse reasonable return shipping.

Refunds

Once the return has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome. Approved refunds are made to the original payment method. We may withhold the refund until we receive the item or you provide evidence that it has been sent back, whichever occurs first.

Where the statutory right of withdrawal applies, we refund the item price and the cost of our least expensive standard outbound delivery option. Extra delivery costs resulting from a faster or more expensive delivery method are not refunded. Refunds are issued without undue delay and within the time required by applicable law. Your bank or card provider may take additional time to post the credit.

Exceptions

Unless mandatory law provides otherwise, we do not accept returns of:

  • items made to your individual specifications or clearly personalised for you;
  • sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed;
  • gift cards or other non-physical products; or
  • items not purchased directly from horscourt.com.

Selecting a standard size or colour does not by itself make an item personalised. Sale items have the same return rights as full-price items unless a lawful exception is clearly stated before purchase.

Cancellations and exchanges

Orders may enter production shortly after payment. Contact us immediately if you want to cancel, but cancellation before dispatch is not guaranteed. This does not affect a statutory right to withdraw after delivery.

We do not offer direct exchanges. Return an eligible item for a refund and place a new order for the preferred item or size.

Faulty or incorrect items

If an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, email [email protected] with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photographs. Do not dispose of or return the item until we provide instructions. Your statutory rights relating to faulty or non-conforming goods remain unaffected.

Withdrawal statement

You may use the following wording, although it is not required: “I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the purchase of [item], ordered on [date] and received on [date]. Order number: [number]. Name: [name]. Address: [address]. Date: [date].”
